Q: What are the anticipated returns for MXM Capital Group Private Equity Fund?
The MXM Capital Group targets the highest possible returns for its investors. The MXM benchmark is a minimum annualized return of 12%-20% for its investors. However, returns are directly impacted by and responsive to the fluctuations in the market as well as interest rates.
Q: What is the minimum investment?
Minimum investment amounts are determined by which of our funds you decide to invest. We have funds that allow for as low as a $10,000 minimum investment with a guaranteed rate of return. For an equity investment, however, MXM is targeting a minimum investment amount of $50,000.
Q: Who can invest in MXM Capital?
Eligibility to invest in MXM Capital varies and is determined by which of our funds you decide to invest. Certain investment opportunities into the MXM Capital funds are open only to accredited investors, while some investments do not require an investor to be accredited. You should consult the MXM Capital Group’s written prospectus and Private Placement Memorandum for guidelines and investment eligibility as well as a detailed list of risk factors that every investor should consider.
Q: How risky is an investment in MXM Capital?
All investments carry risk, and we’re required to provide you with certain risk disclosures, such as those at the bottom of this page. Having said that, the assets of MXM Capital are secured by real estate assets that have real, documented value. Compared to other types of equity investments, many of which may be dependent upon the success of a product or idea, we believe that an investment in MXM Capital provides an attractive risk vs. reward profile. Each of our funds has different risk profiles, so please be sure to read the description of each fund’s business model closely.
Q: Are MXM Capital's managers and executives personally invested in the Fund?
Yes, the principals of MXM Capital strongly believe in MXM's business strategy and protocol, therefore, our principals have significant personal investments in MXM’s funds.
Q: Can I add to my investment over time?
Yes, we make it easy to add to your investment account. There are no minimum dollar amounts for subsequent investments into your account, and you can add to your investment at any time.
Q: Can I reinvest my distributions back into the fund?
Yes, your distributions can be automatically reinvested into your account, allowing you to compound your returns. If you change your mind later on and would like to begin receiving future distribution payments, just let us know.
Q: Are the published returns before or after expenses?
MXM Capital publishes all returns on a net basis, after all expenses (including management fees) have been applied. The published returns are representative of the actual cash distributions paid to investors
Q: How often are MXM Capital's financials published and audited?
MXM Capital makes quarterly financial statements available to all investors. In addition, MXM Capital provides third party CPA audited financial statements for our investors.
Q: Will I be able to view the assets in MXM Capital's portfolio?
Yes, our proprietary online investor portal provides loan summaries, payment histories, photos, and other information about each asset in our portfolio. We want to provide transparency in our portfolio, and you can access this information 24 hours a day, by logging into your Investor Portal.
